Markus Erdt began drawing in early childhood, competing with his brother at the dining table to create the best drawing. He later continued to study and deepen his skills in design and illustration.

His work quickly focused on the world of board games, but also includes nature illustrations, character design, apps, books, and more. He loves animation, comics, audiobooks, cooking, and gaming.
