Paolo “Pawl” Boracchi is the author of Altar of the Dead Gods, published by Pwork Wargames, and the creator of Ømen Tide, a skirmish wargame developed together with Simon Schnitzler.
His work focuses on games with a strong visual and thematic identity, often inspired by Lovecraftian imagery, designed to be immediately readable and engaging on the tabletop.
Alongside the development of his projects, he is also involved in promoting and teaching game design through articles, panels, and collaborations with universities and associations.
In his talks, he explores creative processes, iteration, and independent game development with a practical, approachable perspective.
