A delegation from the World Play Day Festival will be at Play 2026
Urbino in Gioco is a long-running ludic-cultural event held every first weekend of June at the Albornoz Fortress in Urbino. For eleven years, it has been Italy’s official event for World Play Day, and it is completely free to attend.
Its strength lies in its dual identity: on one hand, the active experience and practice of games in all their forms; on the other, a cultural reflection on the nature of play. This unique blend of entertainment and game culture makes it a must-attend event within the national gaming scene.
At Play 2026, we will present two projects related to the world of gamebooks: Libro-Game in Classe (2nd Edition) and I Canti di Volsinio.
