Science, comedy, and games come together at LA Play
Among the guests of LA Play 2026 is Barbascura X: chemist, science communicator, stand-up comedian, author, and one of the most followed and influential creators on the web.
He rose to fame with the series “Scienza Brutta”, through which he revolutionized the way science is communicated, bringing it to theatre, television, and the web with an irreverent, unconventional style.
A bestselling author and winner of the Premio Satira Forte dei Marmi 2023 and the Premio Nazionale di Divulgazione Scientifica 2020 Giancarlo Dosi, in 2024 he published his first board game with MS Edizioni: “Barbascura X – Evolversi Male.”

At Play, he will be the featured guest in a panel together with Enrico Macchiavello, illustrator of the game, as well as a highly recognizable artist and author in the Italian scene.
The talk will be moderated by Michele Bellone, for a discussion that brings together science, illustration, and game design.
