The award dedicated to gamebooks returns
Play, in collaboration with Ludo Labo and Librogame’s Land, the largest Italian community of gamebook enthusiasts and authors, presents the Librogame Magnifico Award.
The award is directly inspired by the Goblin Magnifico and is designed as a recognition dedicated to the world of gamebooks. The winner will be determined through a public vote and will consider works published between March 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026.
We are therefore launching the fifth edition of the Librogame Magnifico, with the first round of voting starting today.
From today, the “Sondaggione” poll available on the homepage of www.librogame.net features 26 nominated titles.
The selection has been curated by a team of experts led by Tiziana Lauro and Matteo Bisanti—longtime collaborators of Ludo Labo and Play, together with administrators and moderators of the Librogame’s Land community.
All users registered on Librogame’s Land by February 28, 2026 will be able to cast a single vote for the gamebook they consider the best.
At the end of this first phase, the most voted titles will advance to the final round, where a second poll will determine the winner.
Voting officially opened on Monday, April 6: all that’s left is to take part and support your favorite gamebook!
