An educational gaming session with PIXEL led by INAF

On Friday and Saturday morning, we will host school classes at our booth, where they will participate in an educational gaming session with PIXEL, facilitated by PhD students and researchers from INAF.

PIXEL - Picture (of) the Universe is a board game designed and produced by INAF, developed as part of the collaboration between the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) and the Game Science Research Centre, of which INAF is a member.

Each pair of players will manage a research center and its observational facilities, gather resources to specialize their research team, enhance available technologies, and compete with other players to achieve the highest scientific prestige by the end of the game. The key scientific concept behind the game is the resolution of astrophysical images.
